“Photography can only represent the present. Once photographed, the subject becomes part of the past.” Berenice Abbott, 1898 – 1991
I'm a self taught photographer with autism. I was given my first camera when I was fourteen, and I have never looked back. I see photography as capturing a lost world, not just for fashion and glamour. I believe it is important to capture and record the past before it is gone for good. We have a duty to have something to show our future generations.
I am very interested in WW1 photography because they had the courage to get out there and get image's of what was happening, even through they knew they could be wounded or even killed for it. Names to look out for are:
Ernest Brooks (1878- 1936).

John Warwick Brooks (30th May 1886-)

They were self taught like myself. I put everything down to experience trial and error. I am very much into history being recorded and there are some fantastic images to be had throughout the years. Including images from WW2, Vietnam, the American civil war, the Wild west and more (although I never took any).
Thank you for looking at my photo's, all of which are copyrighted.
Further note: if you wish to contact me about any of my work etc, please use my page on Facebook which is www.facebook.com/AuraTodd27 You can send me a message on the 'About tab'. I don't use Yahoo any more, which is now obsolete.
Many thanks for your understanding, and have a good day.
